For those unfamiliar with the term "green" refers to a subject that is natural, organic or organic.
As you can imagine, we produce tons of waste during and after the holiday season. Let's show a little compassion into the environment during this season of mercy! Here are some ways we can reduce waste, help protect the environment and enjoy a "greener" Christmas:
Christmas Tree
• Instead of buying a tree to be thrown away, purchase a large potted plant or small tree that can be used each years as its "Evergreen" Christmas tree.
• Buy an artificial tree that can be reused for many years.
• Purchase your evergreen from a tree farm as these trees are renewable.
Christmas Decor
• Make a homemade wreath using branches trimmed from your garden.
• Instead of buying outdoor decor, decorate the trees and shrubs in your yard with homemade décor that will survive a couple of weeks of winter weather.
• Purchase handmade décor from recycled or organic materials.
• Fair trade crafts are a great way to support the disadvantaged. While some of these trades can not be from recycled materials provide much needed income to needy people.
Christmas tree
• Make homemade ornaments from fruit dried corn, (painted) pinecones, mass, painted eggshells, crushed (colored), aluminum foil, chains of paper, paper snowflakes, small stuffed animals, old CDs and more!
• Decorate a doll as an angel.
• Click an online search tree or homemade recycled for many ideas.
• Purchase recycled or eco-friendly tree friends, like vegetable ivory - Tagua nut trees.
Gift Wrapping
• Collect extra photocopies or no longer needed for your business documents so that their children are based in the rear.
• Use color images of their children Use recycled paper.
• Place the gift inside another gift such as a piece of Tupperware, tin decorative wooden box, baking pan, wrapped in a towel, etc.
• Use last season wrapping paper, gift bags and gift boxes, ribbons and bows.
Greeting cards and gift tags
• Send an e-card.
• Make a greeting card or tag from scrap paper, fabric or paper painted.
• For short messages require a large leaf or flat stone.
• Make cards or tags from pieces of a tissue or food box.
Packaging material
• Use packaging material stored as peanuts and bubble wrap.
• Crush loose balls of newspaper. This is cheaper, faster and lighter! This is our preferred method for box filler. It's also fun for family, friends and clients to see a newspaper from another city. in the oil, obviously, make a mess and go right through your box!) Include a note to the receiver to feed the squirrels and birds in the neighborhood or to be creatures lurking in the night!

Once the relatives go home and return children to or from a business or a tear or cut for firewood for your fireplace or charcoal grill.
• Find your local authority to collect calendar of trees. They turn their trees composted for use in parks and public gardens. If you need to check mulch for your own garden, to enjoy their tree and other courts of composted yard for their own use.
• Use any wrapping paper that is no longer reusable for shelf liners in the draft or craft projects.
