Does anyone else think that phone books are a huge waste of paper and money? And where can they be recycled?
I lived in a apartment complex and find a series of five phone books in my house 1-2 times a year! And, I would save them thinking I'd find a place for recycling but then each container recycling paper and magazine I've ever seen say "no telephone." I would end up throwing them away and feel bad about it, but then angry with the Telephone Company to give out. And, here's the worst ... I have not even had a land line for the last 3 years! Have just put one in each fit. door. Then the question is where can you recycle?
Totally! My apartment has a large bin for papergoods, so can place in that country. Call who picks up litter, most likely have a room or contact the city for a place that will take them. It's a waste!
