What's that rubber smell?
I just bought a black rubber door mat, which states that is is made with recycled materials. Indeed, it smells strongly of rubber, like in tires, even after leaving it out a week to air. It even leaves a smell on my hands after handling it. Is it safe to use indoors? Or is it giving off toxic substances? Thank you.
