If i buy a chevy impala 67' with what eco-friendly V8 engine can i swap the stock without lose the performance?
yeah the impala 67' is one of my dream cars,so here the taxes are high for non-catalyst cars with old engines,but i don't care about the taxes,i care about the environment.
so if i buy one i would take the car to the chevrolet authorized service and i'll say "swap the engine with an eco-friendly one" or what?
i want a eco-friendly engine without lose the stock's performance.

You could put a chevy 4.8 from a 99-up silverado that's a small v8 that better on fuel and may out power the old engine.
all you need is a low mileage junk yard engine 4.8-5.3 ; computer from truck; painless harness and a comp re-tune
