which of these lights should I use to grow pot?
I've got the mini florescent lights, (the ones that are eco friendly and look like soft serve). They have Hg on it, dunno what that means.
a regular old fashioned light bulb,
or if I really have to I have twin 32 watt cool white 36" florescent tubes.
(i'm gonna guess the last one right?)
What you really need for vegetative stage
growing is a Metal halide light, and a reflective
hood or cool tube. Then when you induce flowering,
you should have a High Pressure Sodium light.
These are the ones used in the street lamps
that glow a slight yellow-orange color.
These are best for growing because they are High Intensity
Discharge lamps. They put out the biggest amount of lumens
(more lumens the better the growth; the sun puts out about 10,000 lumens per square ft) and these lamps put out anywhere
from 3,000-7,000 lumens, which is why they are preferred
for growing pot. But you need lots of other things also,
lights aren't everything. Do the research, I will help you.
